This menu contains file formats which MacPhase can or will be able to read and write. Any file selected will be read as the format specified by this menu.
Selects the MacPhase file format for read/write. This is the format you should use if you are working with floating points or you would like to retain the plot format for the active window.
Selects TEXT file format for read/write. This is useful to read/write spread sheet data.
Selects binary file format for read/write. Use this to read/write in byte, integer, longint, or floating point data files.
Selects Mathematica file format for writes. This output the data in a text format readable in Mathmatica‚Ñ¢ using the GET command.
Sorry, you can not read Mathmatica‚Ñ¢ files, you can only write to them.
Selects the BRO OPD file format. You'll probably never need this one, but if you use a BRO interferometer system you will want to use this.
Selects the PICT file format. If you write to a PICT file, whatever the active data window's plot type is will be saved to a PICT. If you read in a PICT it will be converted to a bitmapped image of that PICT.
Selects the TIFF file format. Only 4 and 8 bit TIFFs are supported for reading, and only 8 bit TIFFs are supported for writing.
PICS are not supported yet. Let us know if you have a need for this format.
Selects the CLUT file format. This will read in clut resources. NOTE: If you intend on opening a clut resource file as a CLUT, make sure the CLUT radio button is checked.
Selects the sound resource format. Use this to read in sound resources.
Sound resources can not be written to in this version.
HDF file formats are not supported yet. Let us know if you have a need for this format.
VICAR file formats are not supported yet. Let us know if you have a need for this format.
This file format will be used for this file I/O operation.
